Being Ill-Prepared for Quizzes

It seems that dreams about showing up for a final exam that you haven't studied for are fairly common, and I certainly have my share of them. In one dream, I somehow got sidetracked and totally spaced out about the class. Only when I remembered to get back to the class, it was time for a test, and of course, I was totally lost. In another dream, during a test (after being away from college for many years and then somehow returning to a class I haven't been to for years), I snapped at the teaching assistant, "Excuse me, I was having a life. So I didn't have time to study for this, sue me!"

Naked Gymnast (Don't Worry -- not NSFW)

In one dream, I had waken up in my bedroom to discover that a set of parallel bars (as in men's gymnastics) had been set up right in my bedroom. A blonde fairy in a sky blue leotard sat on the top of my dresser.

"Put your hands together for Kyle," she announced, gesturing dramatically at the bars. A stark naked man swung his way on the bars. Gymnastics do not make for "good naked" (remember that Seinfeld episode?) even if the man was in perfect shape. Unfortunately, this particular man was middle-aged and sporting a paunch which made it worse, and it freaked me out that I actually woke from the dream. To this day, I'm still trying to unsee that dream. :-)

Lovesick Scientist

In this dream, I was a lab assistant to a scientist who bears a rather uncanny resemblance to Jorah Mormont on the show Game of Thrones. One day he summoned me to his office/lab which was a large room with a whiteboard full of scribbles spanning the whole width of a wall. 

Chasing Rainbows

The other night, I have a rather gay dream -- not gay as in the LGBT sense but gay in the "gay as a unicorn" sense.
