A Visit to Yet Another Western Tourist Trap

This isn't one of these crazy dreams I usually post about here, but it was kind of a pleasant dream. I want to record it here so I can rememer it better. Also, it seems that I seem to blog quite a bit about Western-themed dreams like this restaurant featuring singing cowboys on a ceiling track, which is a bit odd, considering i'm not a Western buff at all. No idea why I have these dreams. :-)

Kitchen Window Thief

In this dream, I was visiting a touristy Western-theme town (maybe the same town as this dream of singing cowboys). I was strolling by a bar and grill in a low wooden building, when i decided to take a shortcut through an alley between tthe bar and another building to a park located behind the buildings. This wooden sidewalk ran down the alley, and there was a long row of old-school multi-pane windows down the bar's side. As I walked down the wooden sidewal, I kept peeking into the windows. The first three looked into the bar's main room with a group of college girls sitting at a round table, playing a drinking game. The next window looked into a small manager's office. The rest of the windows opened into the kitchen at the back. One window was open and I could smell something good baking. The kitchen appeared to be empty. There was a table under the open window with a bunch of brown paper grocery bags on it. I peeked into the bags, which appeared to be filled with styrofoam boxes, paper and the like. I had no idea what the bags were for, but on an impulse, and since there weren't anyone in the kitchen, I decided to lean in and grab one of the bags. I ran off to the park with the bag, and once I was there, I peeked into the bag. It turns there wasn't any food in it except for a single dinner roll. Just empty boxes, paper plates and plastic silverware. So much for my career as a thief. :-)

Singing Cowboys on a Track in a Tourist Trap Restaurant

Once I had a dream about what must be the oddest restaurant concept ever. I was visiting a touristy "ghost town" set in the mountains somewhere, and went into a big restaurant for lunch, that served BBQ or something that fit the Western theme. It was divided into several dining rooms, done in old-timey style. However, all the rooms were very tall, 2-story tall, for a specific.
