Lemon Drop Ride

Okay, here's the dream that inspired this blog's name. A friend and I were driving through some New England-style countryside when we happened upon an amusement park. I don't know what its name was, and most likely, it doesn't exist in real life like many places in my dreams. But I wouldn't be surprised if it was called Candyland as many buildings and rides there had a candy theme. For example, the Tilt-a-Whirl ride was called Jelly Beans, and each car was done in a different bright pastel color instead of the usual red.

We saw a small wooden house painted light yellow with a sign reading "Lemon Drop Ride" with many people streaming into it. Just to see what kind of ride this was, we joined the line. Once the line moved inside, the building's interior turned out to be much bigger than it looked like from outside, and the line stretched in practically endless U-turns, like a line going to an E-ticket Disneyland ride.

After an eternity, we finally reached the head of the line. Lemon Drop Ride turned out to be come kind of roller coaster ride with light yellow (of course) coaster cars. We climbed into one and while waiting for the ride to start, we watched a Scrambler-type ride whirling next door though a large open window opposite the boarding lines. Unfortunately, the dream ended at this point, so I didn't get to see how the ride was. But I did like the name for some odd reason.
